Kuchen Douch

Scald 1-cup milk
Dissolve 2 pkgs. Of yeast into ¼ cup luke-warm water

Once milk has cooled add:
1/3 cup Crisco
1/3 cup sugar
Yeast mixture
½ tsp. salt
2 egg yolks
Mix well.
Gradually add 3 ½ cups flour
Stir to combine. When dough becomes stiff, turn out onto a floured board. Kneed for 5 minutes. Place dough in a greased bowl and let rise 1 hour until the dough has doubled in size. Turn risen dough out onto floured surface. Cut dough in half and roll into a rectangle. Add about 1 cup dried candied fruit on top dough. Roll up like a jellyroll. Place a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350* for 30 minutes.
