Chicken Noodle Soup

1 head of celery, cleaned and chopped
10-12 carrots, cleaned and chopped
4 onions, chopped
4 chicken breasts, pounded flat, pan fried and cut into strips
1 package of noodles, cooked

In a large stock pot add, 4 quarts of chicken stock, salt, pepper and Bay leaf. Add the carrots and simmer until they are almost fully cooked. Then add the celery and onions. When these vegetable are just about cooked add the fully cooked chicken strips and the noodle. Simmer about 15-20 minutes longer, just so the flavors can marry.

Strawberry Shortcake

Wash, and quarter 2 pints of berries. Place in a mixing bowl, along with sugar to taste, and 1 tbs.. salt. Turn mixer on low speed for approximately 2 minutes. This will release the berries natural juices.

Real Whipped Cream

Whip 2 pints. on heavy cream with 1 cup of confectionery sugar until soft peaks form.

Angel Food Cake Tip:
If using a boxed cake mix add a teaspoon or more of your favorite spice, such as almond, cinnamon, or lemon. Instead of using water, try orange juice, lime juice, lemonade or cherry juice. There are a number of ways to make a boxed cake your own, be creative and have fun!
