Fr. Paul’s Easy Fish Fry
1 piece of halibut fillet
1 egg
Splash of water
¼ cup of flour
¼ cup Panko breadcrumbs
Oil in a deep fryer
Whisk the egg and water together to make an egg wash. Place flour in a shallow bowl and set aside. Place the breadcrumbs in a bowl and set aside. Flour the fish fillet, then dip into the egg wash then dip into the breadcrumbs.
Heat the oil in a deep fry to 400*and fry fish for about 10 minutes or until flakey. Drain on paper towel and sprinkle with salt.
Gloria Lavin’s Mac and Cheese
3 cans condensed cheese soup
2 cups elbow noodles, cooked
½ to 1 cup milk
2 – 3 Tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 – 2 tsp. mustard
1 ½ Cheese-its, crushed
In a large bowl whisk together, soup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce. Add noodles and mix. Add milk ½ cup at a time, until you get to a thickness you like. Transfer to a buttered baking dish. Top with crushed Cheese-its. Bake at 350* for 30 minutes.
Jeanette and Joe Urbaniak’s Tuna Sandwich
Mayo
Celery, diced
Onion, diced
Tuna (they used 3 small bags of tuna, which seem to be dryer then the tuna in the can)
Salt and pepper
Your favorite bread
Mix everything, except the bread, into a bowl. Spread tuna onto bread.
