Daybreak TV Productions of the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo has recently released a DVD of “Legacy of Victory: Remembering Father Baker.” This documentary, funded by The Vincent and Harriet Palisano Foundation, looks at the life of Monsignor Nelson H. Baker, who has been named a Servant of God by the Roman Catholic Church. This devout man was a strong advocate for the rights of the disadvantaged. Included on the DVD is 90-minutes of rarely seen footage including the interment of Father Baker in Our Lady of Victory Basilica. Mason Winterhalter, editor/associate producer of the documentary stated “This DVD offers a great opportunity to delve deeper into the history of Father Baker and shows his continuing impact on people’s lives.”

“Legacy of Victory” will be re-broadcast on WKBW-TV, Channel 7 at noon on Saturday, December 20. DVDs include closed captioning and are priced at $24.95.
